Current listening: A Supreme Blue by Nicholas Payton and Butcher Brown.
As the title hints, this is a reworking of Miles Davis’s Kind of Blue and John Coltrane’s A Love Supreme. I must have listened to each album 200 times, but this recording makes these tunes new. Highly recommended. 🎶
